Hi! 👋

I'm Richard and I have been working in web development for over seven years. Originally starting as a support desk developer, I have somehow managed to find myself in the UI Architect role at NetConstruct — a web agency based in Leeds, United Kingdom.

My current role involves leading the UI Engineering team, taking charge of the technology stack and ensuring we are always delivering the best possible results for our clients. Additionally, I take a keen interest in the ever-changing landscape of web development and take steps to ensure we're always at the cutting edge of our craft.

I would classify myself as a full-stack developer with a leaning towards the client-side technology stack. My background is primarily ASP.NET development (including both MVC and WebForms). However, more recently I have found myself working with React, Node and the associated JavaScript frameworks and libraries. In fact, this very website was developed using GatbsyJS,  React and Kentico Kontent.

I am also extremely proud to be recognised as a Kentico MVP for 2020, look forward to seeing more articles on Kentico Kontent and reach out if you have any questions or wish to get involved in the Kentico Community.
